The 25-year-old Serb is a seriously streaky player but when he finds his groove he can be difficult to knock out of a tournament on clay and he came so close to winning the Sardegna Open last month, finishing runner-up to Lorenzo Sonego after a thrilling three-set final. Djere will have his work cut out for him here as world number 12 Pablo Carreno Busta is a tough player indeed to draw in the first round and the pair have never played each other before. 29-year-old Carreno Busta was stunned in the first round of Madrid last Monday and the Spaniard will be eager to make amends here.
