THE PREDICTION
For the second year running Filip Krajinovic will face Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first round of the Italian Open in Rome and the 29-year-old Serb leads a healthy-looking 2-0 head-to-head record over the Canadian. However, this season looks a little different with world number 36 Krajinovic struggling for significant form on his favoured surface and world number 20 Auger-Aliassime working well under new temporary clay swing coach Toni Nadal, legendary uncle of Rafael. Krajinovic is certainly a better player than his current performances suggest but he looks set to lose his first match to the 20-year-old on the first match of the tournament. Auger-Aliassime has drawn tough opponents in his last three clay tournaments but that practice in defeat should help him come through this test.
