The 22-year-old is yet to drop a set in three convincing matches so far but now meets the first seed Yulia Putintseva for a chance at a first WTA final. 26-year-old Putintseva has faced a tougher draw so far but a straight-sets win over Ana Konjuh and a tough three-set win over Kateryna Kozlova yesterday looks like strong form for the Kazakh. This first meeting will be tough for the world number 42 with however much of a crowd present likely backing the Hungarian but take Putintseva to win at least a set here as the likeliest winner.
