World number 13 Pablo Carreno Busta looks like the favourite to lift the Hamburg Open title here after three straight-set wins in a row. The 30-year-old has taken out a series of clay-court specialists and already has a title on this surface this season after winning the Andalucia Open back in April. The second seed will have seen the draw open up significantly when world number four Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the quarter-finals on Friday but he now faces the Greek’s vanquisher Filip Krajinovic, who looks to have finally rediscovered some solid form. The 29-year-old overcame fellow Serb Laslo Djere in convincing fashion in the semi-finals and it is tough to suggest which finalist comes in with the best form after such impressive campaigns. World number 44 Krajinovic was the winner in their only previous encounter in the semi-finals of the Stockholm Open in 2019 but that match took three sets and that looks a reasonable outcome here too.
