THE PREDICTION
37-year-old Philipp Kohlschreiber is enjoying a return to form in the twilight of his career and continued his strong French Open performances through to Halle on grass as he beat tricky Corentin Moutet in straight sets on Wednesday. The German veteran leads his next opponent 1-0 in their head-to-head record but w9orld number seven Andrey Rublev is a totally different prospect four years on from their first meeting in 2017 and the Russian looks to be glad to see the back of an indifferent clay season. 23-year-old Rublev has not dropped a set in solid wins over Karen Khachanov and Jordan Thompson so far in Halle and as the last remaining seed here he should be dialled-in fully for a shot at the title. Rublev has an astounding record at ATP 500 events and he should be able to come through this test in straight sets on Friday morning.
