World number 30 Nikoloz Basilashvili has taken out two French opponents at Halle in Gilles Simon and Arthur Rinderknech to face Lloyd Harris for a first time in the quarter-finals. The Georgian has won two ATP titles this season in Doha and Munich to show for an oddly inconsistent season nonetheless but he has been most successful in Germany having won three of his total five ATP titles here. However, 24-year-old Lloyd Harris is a strong competitor on grass and first really impressed at Wimbledon in 2019 where he gave Roger Federer a game before losing to the record champion there. The South African is yet to drop a set this campaign and he could cause a small upset here if he plays to his best ability having already taken out Gael Monfils in the first round. Take world number 51 Harris to win at least a set in this likely tight match.
