20-year-old Jenson Brooksby is through to his first quarter-final on the ATP tour after a three-set victory over grass specialist Denis Kudla. The world number 152 has won three Challenger events on tour this season and also made his Grand Slam debut after qualifying at Roland-Garros, where he lost to Aslan Karatsev in the first round. The American will be well-supported against world number 131 Peter Gojowczyk as a home favourite and up and coming young star but Gojowczyk also took out a tough player in fourth-seed Vasek Pospisil to make this a tough one to call. We have seen what reaching a first quarter-final has brought to youngsters on tour this season and that extra momentum as well as crowd support makes Brooksby the favourite here. Take the American to win at least a set in what looks likely to see three.
