THE PREDICTION
World number 28 Madison Keys stunned the German Open first seed Aryna Sabalenka on Wednesday with an excellent three-set performance and the American should be able to utilise that momentum well here. A first meeting with world number 106 Liudmila Samsonova is tougher than it looks, though, after the Russian took out Ana Konjuh in the qualifiers before beating Marketa Vondrousova and Veronika Kudermetova in straight sets. Still, 26-year-old Keys has to be the favourite to come through this quarter-final after the biggest win of her season so far so take the American to win outright here with Samsonova well capable of forcing a decider.
