THE PREDICTION
It never looked in doubt that world number 76 Lorenzo Musetti would beat David Goffin on Monday as the Italian kicked off a promising Roland-Garros campaign by handing the Belgian a bagel. 19-year-old Musetti came through in straight sets and will face world number 57 Yoshihito Nishioka for a second tournament running after the tricky Japanese beat him in straight sets at the Emilia-Romagna Open last week. 25-year-old Nishioka came through a stern test by home favourite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Monday, taking out the Frenchman in four sets. He will face a wholly new test against Musetti in this second round match as the Italian looks set to garner most of the support as a new and exciting prospect but Nishioka is a positive force and he looks good for a set at least here. A result is more difficult to side with than it looks. In this instance it could be worth opting for Nishioka to win at least a set or for Musetti to win outright but if you can take over three sets in this one, use that option.
