World number 68 Pablo Andujar doubled-down on his best ever win on tour against Roger Federer at the Geneva Open two weeks ago by beating world number four Dominic Thiem in the first round of Roland-Garros in front of raucous, disbelieving fans. The Spaniard shared in their disbelief and that momentum will be a tough force for world number 51 Federico Delbonis to stop on Wednesday morning. The Argentine trails 1-3 in their head-to-head record but did win their most recent encounter at last year’s Andalucia Open and he has been in excellent form recently too. This should be a proper battle between two clay specialists that starts at 11:00 AM local time and could finish around 3:00 PM. If over three sets is an option available, take that for what should be a match full of twists and turns but otherwise Andujar’s journey at Roland-Garros looks a little fated for a tougher test than this.
