THE PREDICTION
World number 59 Sloane Stephens is coming into fierce, sudden form at Roland-Garros that should see the American shoot back up the WTA rankings ahead of Wimbledon. The 28-year-old former Grand Slam champion has beaten two Czech seeds in Karolina Pliskova and Karolina Muchova and now faces a third, though unseeded, in Barbora Krejcikova. 25-year-old Krejcikova recently won her first WTA title at the Strasbourg Open before Roland-Garros and her strong form has carried through to beating world number five Elina Svitolina in solid straight sets on Saturday. Both of these players have been superb throughout the campaign so far and this first meeting should be a great spectacle. Take the more experienced Stephens to win at least a set here but the winner is very hard to call.
