This should be a fascinating first meeting between 21-year-old Marketa Vondrousova and 23-year-old Paula Badosa in the round of 16 with both players taking out strong competition to reach this stage. World number 21 Vondrousova had previously struggled for form on clay this season but she beat Polona Hercog in straight sets on Friday to make it three convincing wins in a row. However, world number 35 Badosa has been prolific in what is proving to be her breakthrough year. The Spaniard won her first WTA title in Serbia last weekend and looks set to go even deeper at Roland-Garros with an outright victory here.
