Both world number 46 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and number 51 Federico Delbonis put in huge performances on Friday to stun their seeded opponents and both players have been threatening to do something like this all season. 21-year-old Davidovich Fokina played out a mammoth five-set battle with Casper Ruud that won the Spaniard plenty of new admirers and he should be the man to win this first encounter as long as he does not underestimate Federico Delbonis. The 30-year-old Argentine has always been an excellent player on clay but something has clicked in recent months that has taken him to the next level. He totally dismantled Fabio Fognini on Friday after beating in-form Pablo Andujar and he will be confident and dangerous in equal measure.
