THE PREDICTION
37-year-old Yen-Hsun Lu is a legend of the Challenger circuit having won more titles than any player at that level but this is a terribly tough first round match at Roland-Garros for the Chinese Taipei player. World number 10 Diego Schwartzman won the Buenos Aires Open earlier this year but has since struggled to find his best game on clay and this useful first fixture is exactly what the Argentine needs to find his feet at a Grand Slam he will always be a danger in. There is little to say for Lu’s chances here other than that Schwartzman has been below his best all season long. However, Schwartzman should still have enough to win this in comfortable straight sets.
