World number 36 Adrian Mannarino is on a rare stretch of poor form as he enters Roland-Garros on a six-match losing streak. The 32-year-old is normally so consistent but he has yet to win a match on clay this season and looks like the underdog in this third meeting with Slovenia’s Aljaz Bedene, despite leading their head-to-head record 2-0. Mannarino is a much better grass and hard-court player but he will be boosted by French support in Paris and this match looks like it has sets in store for both players. 31-year-old Bedene is also more suited to matches off the clay but recent wins over Sebastian Korda and David Goffin suggest he can beat Mannarino for the first time here. If over three sets is available take that option here but otherwise take world number 56 Bedene as the outright winner.
