World number 30 Coco Gauff fought back well against Katerina SIniakova on Friday to reach the final of the Emilia-Romagna Open as the solid favourite here, bringing her incredible Italian Open form straight through to a final like the future multi-Grand Slam champion she should prove to be. The 17-year-old is the third seed here and will face the sixth seed Qiang Wang for a first time in a final, which always makes for an enthralling watch. Gauff has put in some masterful performances over the last few week in Italy but it is her mental resolve that makes her so impressive right now, with this match fairly likely to see three sets but for the American to come through. World number 48 Qiang Wang will be dangerous throughout, though, as taking out Sloane Stephens and Petra Martic before her is no easy feat. The 29-year-old does not let herself get phased but she will likely be overpowered by a future legend of the sport in Gauff. Take the American to win outright here, with sets a matter of a guesswork.
