World number 32 Reilly Opelka claimed one of the best wins of his career by coming back from a set down to beat Nick Kyrgios in the first round of the Canada Masters on Monday. The 23-year-old has struggled at times in recent months after a stellar run to the Italian Open semi-finals back in May looked like the start of something big but he is always capable of a deep run if the conditions are right. The American faces world number 21 Grigor Dimitrov next and this first meeting should favour him after 30-year-old Dimitrov bombed out of the Citi Open in straight sets last week. The Bulgarian has been in questionable form for some time and looks unlikely to have enough to take down a confident big-serve machine in Opelka. Taking the American as outright winner should not be the upset that it looks on paper right now.
