World number 21 Felix Auger-Aliassime played out an impressive double-header at the two ATP 250 tournaments held in Cologne over the last two weeks, losing in the final and semi-finals respectively. The 20-year-old will be a threat at this tournament but it could be a shaky start here against his compatriot Vasek Pospisil after such a quick turnaround and two disappointing outcomes. The elder Canadian fought through two three-set qualifying matches to be here and though consistency appears to be his main problem, he is far better than his current ranking at world number 88. However, Auger-Aliassime already holds a healthy 3-0 lead in their head-to-head record and while this could go to three sets he should find the resolve to come through here.
