Grigor Dimitrov and Marton Fucsovics face off in this second round clash having both sailed through their opening matches in straight sets against Tommy Paul and Hugo Dellien respectively. This is the first time Fucsovics has reached the second round at Flushing Meadows so he will be keen to go even further while Dimitrov reached the semis last year and he will be keen to do just as well this time around. Dimitrov may need to up his game another level here but he is more than capable and should win in four sets.
