THE PREDICTION
Stan Wawrinka was made to work hard for his three-set victory over world number 34 Dan Evans and faced off three match points in the second set before rallying to take the decider. The Swiss looked both on and off pace in a topsy-turvy game but ultimately came through with the big shots at the crucial times and should have an easier time of it in the round of 16 here. Russian wildcard Evgeny Donskoy did well to beat Egor Gerasimov, especially in two sets, but it would be a small miracle if he were to take out the fifth seed here. Wawrinka’s struggle with Dan Evans should not translate to this game and the Swiss can win this in straight-sets.
