THE PREDICTION
Both of these players failed to make it past the first round at the French Open, with Feliciano Lopez losing to the impressive German Daniel Altmaier and Borna Coric to Norbert Gombos. Evergreen as he is, 39-year-old Lopez will have expected to struggle at a five-set event but world number 27 Coric continues to blow hot and cold this season, making this match something of a question mark. Coric has lost to Lopez twice before, although they last met in 2018, and while he will be favourite to come through here his form is questionable. The match went to three sets on a hard court the last time they met and that might be the safest prediction here.
