THE PREDICTION
Yoshihito Nishioka took a well-deserved break last week after reaching the quarter-finals of the Cologne Open 2 via an impressive domination of Kyle Edmund and a great win over the seventh seed Jan-Lennard Struff. The Japanese left-hander will fancy his chances against Pablo Andujar who has not exactly pulled up tress since the restart of the tennis season. The 34-year-old Spaniard has four ATP titles to his name but all of those on clay and Nishioka is almost certainly the better player on a hard surface here. It could go to three but the week’s rest should do Nishioka some good and this looks likelier to fall his way in straight-sets.
