World number one Novak Djokovic made the transition to clay fairly seamlessly in his first-round win over Salvatore Caruso and he will be glad to have got that win under his belt following his shock disqualification at the US Open. He next faces a tricky customer in the form of compatriot Filip Krajinovic who has been quietly racking up some good results in recent weeks. He has already seen off 16th seed Felix Auger Aliassime in the first round before swatting aside Marco Cecchinato in the second so his game looks in decent shape ahead of this match. Djokovic, though, is simply on another level and this test will serve him well for the rest of the clay court stretch. This won’t be a demolition job, but expect Djokovic to get the job done in straight sets.
