16-year-old Coco Gauff’s burgeoning reputation continues to grow and she comes into this second-round match having impressively seen off 9th-seed Johanna Konta on Sunday and the American now takes on qualifier Martina Trevisan following the Italian’s victory over Camila Giorgi, who had to retire injured in the second set of their first-round meeting. This already represents Trevisan’s bet performance at a Grand Slam and this clash will surely be the biggest match of her career to date. Her backhand is her greatest weapon and she’ll look to use that to good effect against the youngster but Gauff plays with a maturity way beyond her years and it would be no surprise to see her progress further.
