THE PREDICTION
Fourth-seed Sofia Kenin got off to a shaky start against French powerhouse Fiona Ferro in the round of 16 but the young American went on a dominant streak of games to eventually come through convincingly. As she did at the Australian Open earlier this year, Kenin has gone under the radar somewhat until the second week at Roland-Garros but there is no doubt she has the quality and fighting spirit to win her second Grand Slam title this year. Her opponent is fellow American Danielle Collins, who was in complete control against Ons Jabeur in their round of 16 match but a drastic drop in performance almost saw her throw the match away. Ultimately she made it through but Kenin can punish her where Jabeur could not and the Australian Open champion should come through in three sets here.
