THE PREDICTION
Despite a shaky start to his Roland-Garros campaign with a five-set comeback win over Sam Querrey, Andrey Rublev has been impressive in reaching his second-successive Grand Slam quarter final. He faces Stefanos Tsitsipas, who also struggled in a five-set first round match before settling into the tournament with an impressive dismantling of Grigor Dimitrov in the round of 16. These players met on clay in the final of the Hamburg Open just over a week ago which suggested big things at Roland-Garros for the both of them. That day, Andrey Rublev got the better of world number five Tsitsipas in three sets and a similar result should come to the fore here. It could go to a decider, and the lead in this match looks set to fluctuate throughout, but the Russian comes into this with the better form and a real fire in his belly.
