THE PREDICTION
This match-up represents a huge opportunity for one of Lloyd Harris and Ugo Humbert to reach the semi-finals of an ATP event. For Humbert it will not be the first time this year, having won the Auckland International ATP 250 event at the start of the year, but this is new territory for Harris. The South African took out the seventh seed Taylor Fritz in a convincing straight-sets performance and will be the danger man in this first quarter-final of the day. However, Humbert’s defeat of an in-form Pablo Carreno Busta in the round of 16 cannot be overlooked and his experience from Auckland could prove to be the difference here. There is something about Harris in this tie that piques an interest, though, but for want of a tricky call both players can take a set to force a decider.
