Germany’s Oscar Otte has been enjoying some good form in Cologne having reached the round of 16 in last week’s tournament and beating plenty of strong competition throughout. Otte dismantled Jan-Lennard Struff in the first round last week and is yet to drop a set at the bett1HULKS Championship in both the qualifiers and against Dennis Novak on Tuesday. The 27-year-old will have his hands full now, however, against the second seed Diego Schwartzman who is a man in form following his recent exploits at the French Open. The Argentine reached the semi-finals in Paris before a “good” defeat by the imperious Rafael Nadal and he will have more than just this tournament title in his sights. With the ATP Finals looming, Schwartzman will be a danger to anyone and should come through this match in a statement straight-sets.
