Tamara Korpatsch has never made it to the third round of a Grand Slam. The German put in a comprehensive performance the other day to defeat Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo in straight sets. Korpatsch recently made it through qualification at the Italian Open before being beaten quite comfortably by Solana Sierra in the first round.
