Sydney Roosters vs Cronulla Sharks prediction
The Sydney Roosters take their home match to the Central Coast this Saturday night to tackle the Cronulla Sharks. They let a half time lead slip away against the high flying Bulldogs last week and that leaves their season hanging by a thread with just four wins as we approach the midway mark.
The Cronulla Sharks on the other hand are beginning to click on all cylinders, they have won five of their past six with only a golden point defeat to the Tigers blotting their recent copybook. The origin period gives the Sharks an opportunity to continue their ascension up the ladder with their playing squad remaining largely unaffected.
The Roosters recent record in Gosford is impressive: winning six of their past eight contests. The Sharks are comfortable on the Central Coast too, winning four of their past five matches including a 44-12 mauling of the Roosters in 2017.
A young Roosters team with a plethora of changes makes for a difficult assignment against the Sharks this week and we thin the Sharks could run up a score against their long-time nemesis in this one.
Sydney Roosters vs Cronulla Sharks tip: Cronulla Sharks to win -8.5 points handicap
