Sydney Roosters vs Canberra Raiders prediction

The final match of Round 13 pits the Roosters against the high-flying Raiders at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

The Sydney Roosters (11th) recorded a comprehensive 42-16 victory over the Sharks in Round 12, their third win in five matches.

Meanwhile, the Canberra Raiders (2nd) defeated the Warriors 16-10 in a tough Round 12 battle, their fourth win in five games keeping them well and truly in Top Four contention.

Sandon Smith leads the team in points (90) and goals (35) for the 2025 season while for the Raiders, Jamal Fogarty is the NRL's leading goal kicker (51) and leads the Raiders in points scored (110).

The two meetings in 2024 saw the away team win on each occasion. The Roosters lead the overall head-to-head record 29-17.

This promises to be a tight contest to close the round. The Raiders are in strong form and will test a Roosters side that will rely on several players backing up from Origin. Canberra's consistency gives them a slight edge.
