Stefanos Tsitsipas will hope the return of his father in a coaching capacity can inspire a much-needed upturn in fortunes.

The Greek has plummeted down the rankings this year, slipping out of the top ten and now down to 30 heading into his second round match in Cincinnati with Fabian Marozsan.

The 25th seed has lost four of his last five matches and knows he will need to find another gear or two against the dangerous Hungarian.

The world number 51 reached the third round in Toronto and saw off the challenge of USA starlet Colton Smith by a 6-1 4-6 6-4 scoreline to earn a shot at Tsitsipas.

As good as Marozsan is on his day, this match boils down to where Tsitsipas’ head and game is at. If the former world number three hits anywhere near his best, he’s the clear pick, but it remains to be seen if the return of his father can have an immediate impact on his fortunes and the Hungarian underdog will relish the chance to try and take a big-name scalp.
