Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Arthur Rinderknech prediction

Stefanos Tsitsipas could only make the second-round of the Australian Open last month, as the former finalist was defeated by Tomas Machac in four sets. Tsitsipas then competed in Davis Cup qualifying for Greece, winning both of his singles matches in straight sets as they defeated Mexico. He currently has a 6-2 win-loss record from his matches in 2026, but the former world number three will be hoping for a sustained run of results after a tough previous season on the tour.

Arthur Rinderknech’s campaign in Melbourne was even more short-lived as he lost to Fabian Marosan in round one. He was also in Davis Cup action for France, as he defeated Slovakia’s Norbert Gambos and Alex Molcan.

There are just four places separating the pair in the world rankings, and this is likely to be a close match. Tsitsipas made the final of this event in 2022 and does have a stronger record in these conditions, despite his recent overall struggles.
