St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Newcastle Knights prediction

Newcastle Knights got back to winning ways last weekend, defeating South Sydney Rabbitohs 42-38 in a high-scoring thriller to snap a run of three straight losses. Whilst there are still question marks regarding the Knights’ defence with over 35 points conceded across each of their last four, they boast an offense capable of masking those flaws.

St. George Illawarra Dragons had lost eight from eight prior to their bye-week and currently sit right down at the foot of the table. Whilst the two weeks of rest and build-up to this fixture should see them fresh and ready to take the game to Newcastle Knights from minute one, it may not take long for this Knights attack to assert their authority. They are a stronger team all over the field and have to be favoured over the rock-bottom Dragons.
