Sorana Cirstea vs Yue Yuan prediction

Sorana Cirstea dug deep last time out to overcome Poland’s Magdalena Frech in three sets 7-6 2-6 6-4 as she managed to eliminate the 22nd-seed.

The Romanian 35-year-old has only ever reached the third round in Cincinnati once before and that came in her very first appearance in the tournament back in 2009 but she will fancy her chances of going even further now.

She takes on Yue Yuan who is enjoying her best performance at the event also and comes off a three-set win of her own against 14th-seed Diana Shnaider. It was a strong performance by the Chinese 26-year-old and while Shnaider is a little out of form right now, take nothing away from Yue Yuan.
