She upset seed Diana Shnaider in the last round, defeating the Russian 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) and is in red-form heading into this latest contest.
Parks will no doubt see this as a huge opportunity after having gotten past Shnaider, but Kenin also has significant pedigree and her power will be a big challenge for Parks to contend with.
