Sebastian Ofner vs Vit Kopriva prediction

Sebastian Ofner is struggling for form and is without a win in his last five matches. His last victory was his best result of the season, as he defeated Tommy Paul in the second-round of Wimbledon but it’s been tough going for the Austrian since then. He has shown flashes of quality during his comeback season, but Ofner will be desperate to get back to winning ways ahead of the final major of the year.

Vit Kopriva is another player who isn’t performing well either. He has lost his last three matches and has failed to win consecutive matches at a tournament since his fabulous run from the qualifying stages to the third-round of the Italian Open in May. Kopriva’s last two events in Toronto and Cincinnati have seen him lose in straight sets on both occasions.

Neither player is worth fantastic value at the minute, but Ofner is likely to prove more of a threat on hard courts with his powerful groundstrokes, while he also has two Challenger Tour titles on the surface. He will hope to snap his losing run against Kopriva here.
