Sebastian Ofner vs Hamad Medjedovic prediction
Sebastian Ofner made it through qualifying in Halle but lost in the first-round to Andrey Rublev in straight sets. He moved on to the Mallorca Championships but retired in the third set against Mariano Navone in the qualifiers. The Austrian seemed to have been finding some form at the end of the clay season, but he may not be completely free of the heel injury that kept him out for so long.
Hamad Medjedovic entered the main draw of Mallorca and performed well as he won his first two matches before a three set defeat to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals. This was a step in the right direction for the Serb after failing to make it out of the qualifying at Queen’s, losing to Adam Walton.
Neither player has a strong record at Wimbledon, with Ofner not making it past the first-round since a run to round three in 2017, while Medjedovic has only made the main draw on one previous occasion and lost in the first-round two years ago. This could very well go the distance.
