Sebastian Baez won for just the second time in 11 matches to set a second round clash with Gabriel Diallo in Cincinnati.

The diminutive Argentine romped past Belgian David Goffin by a 6-1 6-3 scoreline and will now face the Canadian for the second time.

The South American came out on top 7-6 2-6 6-2 on his favoured clay in Bucharest recently but knows this will be a very different test against the heavyweight hitting and serving of the 30th seed.

Diallo is playing with real confidence having lifted his maiden ATP title at S’Hertogenbosch in June and these conditions will suit his first strike tennis.
