Sebastian Baez vs Chun-Hsin Tseng Prediction

Sebastian Baez is coming off a good win over compatriot Mariano Navone on Wednesday as he won a three-setter and he will have his sights firmly on the title this week. The fifth seed is playing well and after a disappointing week in Buenos Aires last week, he will want to challenge for the title this week.

He meets Chun-Hsin Tseng in the quarters and the Taiwanese player eliminated the last Brazilian in the draw. He won a really tight three-set match against Thiago Monteiro 6-7 6-3 7-6 on Thursday and it will be interesting to see how much that match took out of him emotionally and physically.

Not only did Tseng have a tough match, Baez had the day off as his match was on Wednesday so the scheduling will benefit Baez who should be the fresher of the two players.

We firmly favour the Argentine in this match with a number of factors going for him. He is the better player and while Tseng has some good momentum, we think this is the end of the road for him in Rio.
