Sara Bejlek vs Madison Keys prediction
Sara Bejlek pulled off the best win of her career so far as she knocked world number one Aryna Sabalenka out of the Cincinnati Open at the round-of-16 stage. Sabalenka was 5-1 up in the first set tiebreak and 4-1 in front in the second set, but Bejlek fought back on both occasions to win 7-6 (7) 6-4. The Czech, who won the Abu Dhabi Open back in February, now takes on 2025 Australian Open champion Madison Keys.
Keys reached her first WTA 1000 quarter-final of the campaign after a straight sets win over Xiyu Wang. The American went an early break down in the first set but quickly took control as she won 7-6 (3) 6-4 after one hour and 50 minutes.
Bejlek will be full of confidence after her display in the previous round, and she has already eliminated three seeded opponents at the event. Keys will be the favourite given her experience, but Bejlek is a tough test.
