Sara Bejlek vs Maddison Inglis prediction

Sara Bejlek advanced to the quarter-finals of the Guadalajara Open last time out, following a win over former slam champion Sloane Stephens. However, she was unable to advance further after a loss to Cristina Bucsa. That was Bejlek’s second defeat to Bucsa in the space of a month, as the Spaniard also defeated her in the first-round of the US Open. The Czech’s highlight of the campaign was her superb run to the semi-finals in Cincinnati, beating the likes of Barbora Krejcikova, Madison Keys and Aryna Sabalenka.

She received a bye in the opening round and now faces Maddison Inglis. The Australian made it three straight wins including qualifying after a straight sets victory over Zeynep Sonmez. The Turkish player went 3-1 up in the first set, but Inglis then won five of the next six games to go in front. She broke on three more occasions in the second to win 6-4 6-4.

Inglis has momentum on her side and should be able to trouble Bejlek at times with her aggressive game.
