Ryan Searle vs William O'Connor prediction
This is Ryan Searle's seventh appearance in the World Grand Prix, where has lost in the first round in four of his six previous participations.
The world number 13's year began in superb fashion with a run to the semi-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship, but he hasn't enjoyed too much success on the big stage since then.
One of his brighter moments was defeating William O'Connor in the first round of the World Matchplay though, and that is exactly who he faces here.
O'Connor is participating in the World Grand Prix for the first time since 2015, although his four previous participations all ended in the first round.
The Irishman has, however, been performing well enough to qualify for this event, and we fancy him to get the better of Searle this time around.
