THE PREDICTION
Scarlets will finally take on Cardiff in this rearranged fixture after much of the traditional winter calendar got upended by covid-19. The hosts can come off a rare win after a 24-41 romp away at rock-bottom Zebre last Saturday snapped a run of two defeats in the United Rugby Championship, although a win at home to Glasgow before that was a pretty impressive turn. Cardiff have won the last three editions of this rivalry, most recently by just the one point here in the Rainbow Cup over last summer, and they too come off a URC win after besting Glasgow 32-28 at home last Saturday. The hosts should be the favourite to win through but backing Cardiff to steal the day with a hefty +4 safety net seems the shrewd move.
