Lions look set to be the lowest-placed South African side in the United Rugby Championship after losing 30-33 at home to Connacht last Saturday, their fourth-straight defeat across all competitions. They should be able to snap that unwelcome run at home to struggling Benetton but their season looks all-but over now with so many other URC sides blossoming at just the right time. Travelling Benetton have won just one of their last 11 matches across all competitions and failed to win any of their last seven in the URC after a 46-29 defeat at Bulls last Saturday. Benetton have only beaten lowly Zebre away from home this season and Lions look set to enjoy a comfortable romp at home here, with -10 a reasonable target.
