THE PREDICTION
Pau have lost their last two matches in all competitions after a 54-5 thumping at Edinburgh in the Challenge Cup and more recently a 21-18 defeat at Stade Francais in the Top 14. Their loss last Saturday snapped a three-match winning streak in the league that has taken them clear of any battles at the bottom but they look set for a tough day at home to in-form Racing 92. The visitors are riding a four-match winning streak after a 40-7 romp at home to rock-bottom Biarritz last Saturday and they have lost just two of their last eight Top 14 matches in form that could yet see them top the table in three matches time. Pau are handy scorers at home and this could be quite the combined tidal if both sides bring their best game. La Rochelle were the last to beat them at home in the league in a 16-22 result, so backing Racing 92 to cover around -4 looks a reasonable call here.
