Pau have lost back-to-back matches on the road at Lyon in the Top 14 and Brive most recently in the Challenge Cup but they have been competitive at home all season long, beating Brive 43-20 at the start of the month for a fifth win at home in the league and sixth overall. They have a fair chance at a huge win here at home to Clermont with the visitors’ last away win coming way back in October, although two recent close defeats on the road at Racing 92 and Ulster suggests they have enough to edge this.
