THE PREDICTION
Montpellier lost 31-21 at La Rochelle in the quarter-finals of the Champions Cup earlier this month to make it four matches lost on the spin across all competitions. The current Top 14 leaders desperately need to calibrate here with two matches to go but one win from those should at least see them safely into the play-offs. Racing 92 lost to La Rochelle in the semi-finals last Sunday to snap a six-match winning streak across all competitions and they will be keen to at least extend their two-match run on the road against the struggling leaders. This match looks really close considering Montpellier’s run but it should be noted that only one of their four defeats came at home and by a margin of one to Bordeaux.
