Lyon lost their second match in a row in the Top 14 to an improving Montpellier outfit last Saturday but back-to-back away days was always likely to fall that way. A home tie for Lyon is almost always a banker, with their last win coming here against the reigning champions Toulouse in mid October. Castres remain unbeaten at home with a close-fought 23-22 victory over Brive last Saturday making it four wins and a draw so far and they look like a solid play-off candidate after nine matches played. Their away record is not so hot, with three wins in a row on the road, and this is the toughest away day in the league. Lyon need a pick-me-up and covering -8 seems a reasonable outcome here.
