THE PREDICTION
La Rochelle saw their five-match winning streak snapped in a well-contested 23-16 defeat away at rivals Toulouse last Saturday and they still have work to do if they are to make the Top 14 play-offs. They could put a dent in the leaders impressive season in this quarter-final clash, though, with Montpellier coming off a tough 43-20 defeat at Lyon on Saturday to make it three defeats on the spin across all competitions. The visitors lost their previous away game in the Champions Cup 33-20 at Harlequins as they came through on aggregate but they won this fixture in the Top 14 23-29 back in January to suggest this could come closer than some think. La Rochelle have improved a lot since then but taking the hosts to cover a cautious -6 seems a sensible move here.
